Joel A. Santos, Esq.

Joel Santos, Esq.Mr. Santos has a long history of helping people navigate through the legal system. Although the majority of his clients are from Nevada, he has represented clients from as far away as Australia, Europe and Asia.

Mr. Santos has been a member in good standing of the State Bar of Nevada since he was admitted into the legal practice in 1992.  He is also a member in good standing with the State Bar of California, the Nevada Justice Association (formerly Nevada Trial Lawyers) and the Washoe County Bar Association.

In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Santos is very active in the boxing world.  He is a referee and judge for USA Boxing.  He has officiated for many boxing events, including the Olympic Trials for the 2016 Olympic Games held in Rio, the Junior Olympics, numerous Western Collegiate Regional tournaments, and Collegiate and local amateur boxing events in northern Nevada.  

Mr. Santos' work in the community is non-stop. Through his involvement with the State Bar of Nevada, he volunteered his time to the Young Lawyers Section from 1992-2002.  He was appointed to the Executive Committee from 1999-2002, where he served a term as the chairman.  Some of his notable accomplishments included reinstating and revitalizing a state-wide essay and poster contest for grade school, middle school and high school students statewide. He was also instrumental in their program, "Goldilocks, The Trial of the Century." His overdraw had the production filmed at the Washoe County Courthouse and he worked closely with the production crew.  “Goldilocks” s a movie shown to third grade students to introduce them to the legal system. This program received such favorable reviews that Mr. Santos received requests to use the program from states across the country.     

In addition, Mr. Santos served on the Executive Committee of the Muscular Dystrophy Association, has organized “Free Law Day” which was co-sponsored by St. Vincent’s Food Pantry, and he volunteers at his local church.

Mr. Santos' also enjoys acting. Playing anything from a mafia bodyguard to a police officer, he has acted in numerous movies and television shows. A few noticeable titles include Kingpin, Smokin' Aces, The Last Don, Jane Austin's Mafia, Waking up in Reno, Magnolia, Unbeatable Harold, Body and Soul, and Fatherhood.

Cory A. Santos, Esq.Mr. Santos holds the honor and distinction of being part of the first graduating class from the William S. Boyd School of Law located in Las Vegas, Nevada.   Mr. Santos was admitted to the State Bar of Nevada in 2002.  Upon his admittance, he was offered employment from the state of Nevada.  After numerous years working for the state, he wanted to expand his ability to help the people of Nevada with their legal needs.  He made the decision to join his brother’s law office to accomplish his goal.

Mr. Santos has been a member of the State Bar of Nevada in good standing since he was admitted in 2002.  He is also a member in good standing with the Utah State Bar, the Washoe County Bar Association,  the Nevada Justice Association (formerly the Nevada Trial Lawyers Association), and the American Association for Justice.  

While Mr. Santos attended the University of Nevada, he was on the university’s boxing team.  After his graduation, he continued to stay active in boxing and is currently a judge for USA Amateur Boxing and a professional judge for the state of Utah.

Mr. Santos also represents people in the Las Vegas - Henderson area.
